Open Source

New IT reality: open source software with universal support

Open source software is now an inevitable reality in the world of information technology (IT). Though the lack of integrated services and functional solutions has impeded open source software development for a long time, today it's mature enough so that large consulting service providers are increasingly making it part of their solutions. To the great relief of businesses forced to cut back on their IT investments.

At the same time, major suppliers, such as IBM, Novell, Sun, Oracle and Zend, are basing a major part of their product development strategy on Linux products and open source software, and don't hesitate to release their own developments to the open source community. A future full of promise for open source...
