Yves Pelletier receives title from SMAC 

Mr. Yves Pelletier, Senior Vice-President, Business Development, and Manager of DMR's Montreal officer, received the title of Fellow from the Society of Management Accountants of Canada (SMAC).

This prestigious title, held by only 84 members in Quebec, recognizes Mr. Pelletier's outstanding contribution to his profession and his community. This comes as no real surprise because his management and information technology expertise, his ability to spot and exploit business opportunities, and his contribution to the community have been recognized for over 30 years now.

As manager of management consulting for Quebec City, business development and, most recently, the Montreal office, Mr. Pelletier has played an active role in DMR's growth since joining the firm in 1994. His achievements include setting up specific business units in the municipal and healthcare sectors.

On November 12th, at the Quebec City Hilton, the Ordre des CMA du Québec marked this prestigious appointment at a cocktail party following the Vision Management symposium, organized by the Quebec City Chamber of Commerce and Ordre des CMA. A few hundred business community representatives attended the symposium with the theme of "Can the private sector do it better than the government?" (Le privé sait-il mieux faire que l'État?)
