Lean Healthcare in the news
For a few days now, the pilot project at Hôpital de Val-d'Or, which uses the Lean Healthcare approach and was set up by Promaintech Novaxa, a division of DMR, is making headlines. The project's instigator and new Minister of Health, Mr. Yves Bolduc, praised the effectiveness of Lean Healthcare, the Toyota method applied to the health care sector.
Promaintech Novaxa's certified Lean Six Sigma "Black Belt" experts have made the application of Lean methods to the health care sector a success. Indeed, only a few weeks after the pilot project started, the effectiveness of Lean Healthcare has shown tangible results: up to 3 additional surgeries can be done every day, budget savings are being generated and the hospital's wait time has been shortened.
Once again this has earned the expertise of DMR and its divisions recognition and praise—yet another reminder of the firm's role as a leader in the sector.
