$3.5 million geomatics contract at MRNF 

The Geographic Information Branch (Direction générale de l'information géographique) of Quebec's Ministry of Natural Resources and Wildlife (MRNF) has awarded DMR the contract to develop the functions making up the online production and operating (Environment Environnement de production et exploitation en ligne - EPEL) system.

DMR's work will involve the design, development and implementation of the system's use cases, database administration and user training. This 6,600 p-d contract follows the guidelines laid out in the Quebec Government Geomatics Plan, which will support the consistency, integration and reuse of geographic information.

As a consequence, DMR will grow its presence in the geomatics sector at the MRNF besides participating in the development of a unique, groundbreaking system for the Government of Quebec.
